In the middle of last week a Northwest Airlines flight overshot the Minneapolis airport by 150 miles before the crew realized the error and turned the plane around. Leading to the investigation by NTSB was a 78 minute period of radio silence that started as the plane transited the Denver area shortly before 8pm Eastern. The flight originated in San Diego. Radio contact was not reestablished until after the aircraft had overflown Minneapolis.
Due to a Database error I was unable to repair, I have moved the entire contents of the main blog to here.

Thought for 102309
I am not, and never have been, a writer. This is a simple fact and one I have stated before. I have, and will continue to state it because I would love to be a writer. At the core, its pure envy. I have sat before the screen and easily pounded out a short 1000 [...]

Nobel?
I don’t get it… and I don’t blame Obama. The Nobel Prize committee has nominated President Barack Obama for the Nobel Peace Prize. This is good. Honestly. But its the fact that their own nomination guidelines make it difficult for him to have won. If not out and out impossible. You see, nomination for the [...]
